Panola Mountain State Park Outdoor Education and Demonstration Center

For this project, which was striving for LEED® Gold Certification, Pond | Ecos facilitated a consultant and client team charrette that determined goals and elements of the project, including access and parking, conceptual landscape areas, preliminary grading and stormwater management solutions. Sustainable site requirements were incorporated into all aspects of the plan, such as restoring biodiversity and riparian habitats, tree preservation and site appropriate plantings, use of porous pavement and existing parking, alternative transportation options, minimal site disturbance and open space preservation.
