Because of their commitment to sustainability, Pond | Ecos was hired to assist in the conversion of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Stadium to a major league baseball stadium. They recommended reusing existing infrastructure and utilities, and advocated crushing concrete seating trays for the base under Turner Field's plaza pavement.
