Silver Comet Trail - Rockmart to Cedartown

Although much of the Silver Comet Trail uses defunct rail lines, the section linking Rockmart to Cedartown still had active ones.
Pond | Ecos coordinated with state and local parties to ensure the appropriate permitting was in place to successfully re-route the trail.
In Cedartown, existing sidewalks were upgraded and new pedestrian crosswalks were installed at trail crossings to promote walking and biking as alternatives to automobile use.
