Nancy Creek Restoration

Called in by the city of Atlanta to provide streambank restoration to a residential neighborhood affected by creek flooding, Pond | Ecos developed a solution that included expanding the floodway to absorb run-off, armoring the streambank and making channel improvements to re-create a more natural stream meander. Micro-pools and rills slow down the velocity of the waterway to greatly lessen erosion and encourage habitat restoration.
