Cabbagetown Park
Working in conjunction with the historic Cabbagetown community,
Pond | Ecos oversaw the design and construction of a 3.5 acre park that included, a playground, trails and sidewalks, an amphitheater, and integrated stormwater management in the form of two raingardens and a bio-filtration pond used to collect stormwater runoff. Selected materials played an important role in meeting the design goals, including granite for the seat walls and retaining walls and light fixtures that are architecturally appropriate for the neighborhood.
